The highly anticipated Pokémon TCG: 151 Bundle Box dropped on Fridat, and like many collectors, we couldn’t wait to crack some packs. With its nostalgic lineup featuring all original 151 Pokémon, plus some of the most stunning special art rares, this set had us hyped.
So, naturally, we opened two full boxes to see what kind of heat we could pull. The verdict? Let’s just say the Pokémon gods were not on our side.
What’s Inside the Pokémon 151 Bundle Box?
For those still on the fence about picking one up, here’s what you get in each box:
- 6 Pokémon 151 booster packs
- 1 foil promo card featuring either Venusaur ex, Charizard ex, or Blastoise ex
- A code card for Pokémon TCG Live
Sounds like a solid deal, right? Well…
The Painful Truth – Our Pulls Were Rough
We dove into two full bundle boxes, hoping for some big hits—maybe a Mew ex Special Illustration Rare or a Charizard ex SAR. Instead? Nothing but bulk city.
Here’s a quick breakdown of what we pulled:
Mew ex #151
Wigglytuff ex #187
Daisy's Help #195
Should You Buy or Hold?
We always say, Pokémon cards are a gamble, and today, we felt it hard. But that doesn’t mean these boxes aren’t worth it—just that pull rates can be brutal. If you’re looking for the guaranteed starter trio promos, then this is still a fun product. But if you’re after the biggest hits, you might be better off buying singles instead.
